GENERAL Has made a superb transition for defensive to offensive midfield ... possesses one of the most powerful shots in the collegiate game, particularly from the outside ... a big, physical player not afraid of contact ... can score goals in big numbers when asked ... will provide leadership to a young Greyhound team in 2003.
2002: Started all 13 games as a part of Loyola's first midfield ... a first-team All-CAA selection ... finished third on the team with 16 goals and fourth on the Greyhounds with 19 points ... led Loyola with 69 shots ... scored four goals in a 17-12 season-opening win at Delaware Feb. 23 ... goal total equalled career total prior to that game ... also scored team-high three goals in 11-9 win over No. 3 Duke March 9 ... three goals and one assist in win over Hobart April 27 ... scored a goal and added an assist against Johns Hopkins May 4 ... also had 22 groundballs for the season.
2001: Played in all 14 games in the midfield ... 28 ground balls ranked fourth among field players ... also scored four goals on 14 shots ... had goals against Hofstra, Notre Dame, Brown and Radford.
2000: Saw action in all 14 games, mostly on faceoffs ... won 14 of 38 faceoff opportunities ... also picked up 13 ground balls.
Before Loyola: Was a three-year letterwinner for Coach Fritz Killian at Webster ... was a high school All-American following his senior campaign ... also named All-County and All-League ... he received the school's prestigious Scholar-Athlete award.
