Loyola University Maryland men's lacrosse got a goal from Zach Herreweyers with 9.9 seconds left in regulation to beat Boston University, 13-12, on Saturday, April 16, at Ridley Athletic Complex. Herreweyers scored four goals, and Pat Spencer matched his career-high with six assists.

Loyola University Maryland men's lacrosse defeated Bucknell University, 14-3, on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Ridley Athletic Complex. Pat Spencer scored a goal and had six assists, and Jordan Germershausen tallied three goals. Jacob Stover made 12 saves and allowed just one goal in 49-plus minutes for Loyola.

2016 (Junior): Member of the Greyhounds’ starting defense for the second year in a row… Started 15 games, missing three early in the year due to injury… Finihsed the year with 37 ground balls and 22 caused turnovers… His ground-ball total was tops amongst Loyola’s close defenders and his caused turnovers were second… Made his season debut against Johns Hopkins (2/20) and picked up five ground balls while causing three Blue Jays turnovers… Had four ground balls in the next game, against Lafayette (2/27)… Set a career-high with four caused turnovers, and added three ground balls, in the regular-season meeting with Duke (3/12)… Had four ground balls at Navy (3/19)… Posted five ground balls and caused two turnovers at Colgate (4/3) while helping the Greyhounds limit the Raiders to just four goals on their home field… Had four ground balls against Army in both the regular-season (4/22) and Patriot League Championship Game (5/1)… Caused three turnovers in consecutive games against the Black Knights in the tournament and Duke in the NCAA First Round (5/14)… Had two caused turnovers versus North Carolina (5/28) in the NCAA Semifinals.
2015 (Sophomore): Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll... Started all 15 games on close defense for the Greyhounds... Led the team with 20 caused turnovers and finished fourth on the squad, tops among close defensemen, with 41 ground balls... Made his starting debut against Virginia (2/7) and held Cavaliers' All-American James Pannell scoreless... Had four ground balls and two caused turnovers in the following game against Penn State (2/14)... Followed that with a five-ground ball, three-caused turnover game at Towson (2/18)... Had five ground balls and two caused turnovers at Duke (3/7)... Picked up four ground balls against both Colgate (3/28) and Navy (4/4)... Scored his first collegiate point, an assist, at Boston University (4/11).
2014 (Freshman): Played in 12 games on man-down defense and in other situations for the Greyhounds... Made his collegiate debut in the season-opener at Virginia (2/6)... Picked up a ground ball against Towson (2/19).
Before Loyola: Key member of Chaminade High School's 2013 NSCHSAA State AAA Championship team after earning NSCHSAA All-League honors from the coaches... The Flyers also won the league regular-season title, and was a two-year letterwinner for the Chaminade basketball team that also won the league title... Carrigan played club lacrosse for the Long Island Express, and he led the New York City to the 2013 Emipre State Cup title, earning All-Tournament honors in the process.
