The Greyhounds roll past Towson 20-4 at the Ridley Athletic Complex
Loyola defeated No. 14 Lehigh, 14-7, on March 1, in Bethlehem, Pa.
Loyola men's lacrosse opened the 2014 season on February 6 at the University of Virginia.

Loyola men's lacrosse faced Duke in the NCAA Championships First Round on Sunday, May 12, in Durham, N.C.
2013 (Junior): Played in 15 games on the Greyhounds' rope unit... Earned ECAC All-Academic honors... Finished with 14 ground balls and two caused turnovers.... Picked up a career-high three ground balls in both games against Duke (3/8 and 5/12)... Had a pair of ground balls in the season opener at Delaware (2/16)... Tallied an assist at Hobart (4/20).
2012 (Sophomore): Member of the Greyhounds' ROPE unit that was key in the defensive success throughout the season, helping Loyola check in with the No. 5 scoring defense nationally... Earned ECAC All-Academic honors in the classroom and was induced to Loyola's prestigious Sellinger Scholars Program, an honor society in the school's business school... Had seven ground balls and three caused turnovers... Caused a turnover in the ECAC Championship Game against Fairfield (5/5)... Scored his first career goal at Hobart (4/21)... Caused a turnover and picked up a ground ball at Fairfield (4/7)... Also had an assist against the Stags... Assisted on goals at Michigan (3/7) and against Towson (2/25)... Also had two ground balls in the game against the Tigers.
2011 (Freshman):Played in all 13 games as a short-stick midfielder for the Greyhounds... Picked up three ground balls and had a caused turnover... Logged a ground ball and a caused turnover against Denver (3/16)... Earned Academic All-ECAC honors following the season.
Before Loyola:Earned seven letters - four in lacrosse and three in football - at Chapel Hill (N.C.) High School... Received All-State honors as a junior and senior... Helped the Tigers reach the state title game in each of his first three seasons... The squad won the 2007 and 2008 state championship and earned runners-up honors in 2009... Team captain as a senior... All-Star First Team member in 2010 and a third team honoree in 2009... Earned All-Conference First Team recognition as a junior and senior and was the Boys' Lacrosse Conference 5 Player of the Year as a senior... Scored 40 goals and assisted on 22 while picking up 70 ground balls as a senior... Earned All-Conference First Team honors as a wide receiver for the Chapel Hill football team that won the 2009 conference championship... Also picked up academic all-conference honors in football.
Personal: John Kyle Duffy... Son of John and Lynn Duffy... Born in Garden City, N.Y.... Has one younger brother, Tim... At the beginning of his sophomore year, he was named to Loyola's Sellinger Scholars Program, a prestigious honors program in the renowned business school at the university.
