Loyola men's lacrosse defeated Fairfield, 14-7, to win the ECAC Championship.
2012 (Sophomore): Joined the Loyola men's lacrosse team and played in seven games... Won 61.5-percent of faceoffs during the season.
2011 (Freshman): Played at Robert Morris University as a faceoff specialist and saw action in five games.
Before College: Earned Adidas High School All-America honors in 2009 at Loyola Blakefield HIgh School... Helped the Dons team to the 2008 Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) A Conference title and a No. 2 national ranking... Scored 18 goals and had six assists in his senior season... Also competed in ice hockey and football during his prep career... won a senior academic achievement award in science and was a member of the Irish and the German Clubs.
Personal: Son of Tim and Lillian Donovan...Has one brother, Tim, who played lacrosse at Johns Hopkins University... Major is business finance... also played ice hockey for the Washington Little Capitals and competed for the National Championship in 2006 in Fairbanks, Alaska.
