Before Loyola:Earned eight varsity letters - four in lacrosse, three in football and one in hockey - at Walpole (Mass.) High School... Named to the Bay State League All-Star First Team honors as a defender following his junior and senior seasons in 2009 and 2010... Also earned Eastern Massachusetts All-Star honors, was a Massachusetts All-American and earned Team Defensive MVP honors as a senior... High school teammate of current Loyola player Davis Butts... Picked up 117 groundballs, scored five goals and assisted on seven others as a senior, as he helped Walpole finish the season with a 18-4 record and a Bay State League title... In 2009, helped the Rebels go 24-1 and won the Massachusetts Division II State Championship... Played for the Boston Adidas team during the summer of 2009 and helped his club team, NESLL U19 Black, to the semifinals of the Brine shootout and Champ Camp... Successful football player, too, at Walpole... Started at outside linebacker on the 2008 team that won the state title, and was the starting quarterback and All-Bay State League player and Eastern Massachusetts All-Star in 2009...
