JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Loyola University Maryland golf team is in 15th-place following the first day of the Eagle/Osprey Intercollegiate at Deerwood Country Club.

Senior Brendan Lemp leads the Greyhounds with a 6-over 160, tying him for 27th place overall. Freshman Matt Oshrine is second for Loyola and tied for 61st with a 12-over 156.

Sophomore Jimmy Dengler has a two-round score of 14-over 158, tying him for 75th, while sophomore Keegan Boone is one stroke behind and tied for 79th.

Freshman Will Wears, making his collegiate debut, is 84th overall with a 23-over 167.

Mercer’s Trey Rule leads the individuals with a 2-under 142, while Vanderilt leads the team race with a 7-over 583.

Loyola will return to the course tomorrow for the third and final round. The Greyhounds will tee off at 8:50 a.m.
