Golfers Improve Four Spots After Two Rounds Of Wendy's Kiawah Classic

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - The Loyola University Maryland golf team improved four spots and into 18th place with an aggregate score of 615 after the second round of play at Wendy’s Kiawah Classic at Turtle Point Golf Course on Monday.
Freshman Jimmy Dengler still leads the way, as he’s tied for 20th with a two-round total of 147. Sophomore Bart George had the best day for Loyola, carding a 4-over 75 to move into a tie for 71st at 156.
Freshman Keegan Boone shaved three strokes off his first round score to sit tied for 78th at 157 and junior Cameron Liebert is tied for 98th with a 160. Junior Brendan Lemp rounds out the Greyhounds competing, as he has a two-round total of 164.
South Carolina remains in the lead as a team with a combined score of 7-over 575. College of Charleston moved into second place with a 14-over 582, while Wisconsin jumped three spots and into third with a 19-over 587.
The Greyhounds will return to the course Tuesday to complete the three-round tournament.
