Shot par-or-under through two rounds at the MAAC Championships (4/27-29) to tie for seventh with a season-best 3-over 219 (71-76-72)...Opened the spring with a 240 at the Snowman Getaway (2/27-28) with round scores of 78, 84 and 78...Had a 9-over at the UCF Rio Pinar Invite (3/19-20), shooting 74-77-74... Finished tied for 35th at the C&F Bank Collegiate (3/25-27), shooting 75-73-75...Carded a 232 (78-78-76) at the Fireline Towson Invitational (3/30-4/1) to finish tied for 80th...Shot a 75 and 78 at the Wolfpack Spring Open (4/14-15) to finish tied for 40th.

2011 Fall: Had three under-par rounds throughout the fall season...Team's top finisher at the Maryland Intercollegiate (9/12-13), shooting a 4-under 209 to finish seventh overall...Opened the tournament with a season-best 4-under 67 and followed that up with a 1-under 70 in the second round...Had a 1-over 72 in the third round...Finished tied for 58th at The McLaughlin (9/15-16) with a 12-over 222 (74-73-75)... Carded an 11-over 227 at the Hartford Hawks Invite (9/26-27) to finish tied for 36th with round scores of 76, 69 and 82...Had a 15-over 231 (82-74-75) at the Mission Inn Fall Intercollegiate (10/21-23) to finish 20th.

2011 Spring: Shot 81-75-79 at the Fireline Towson Invitational (3/26-27) tying for 46th with a 235 total...Tied for 15th at the MAAC Championship (4/29-5/1) shooting a 80-75-77...Shot 79-76-82 at the NCAA Southwest Regional (5/19-21) finishing 24-over (237) in 74th place.

2010 Fall: Shot 79-73-74 at the Manor Intercollegiate (9/13-14) finishing in 12th...Shot 74-70-74 at The McLaughlin (9/17-18) finishing in 44th...Shot 72-73 at the Hartford Hawk Invitational (9/27-28) finishing fourth with an aggregate of 145...Finished 11th at the Joe Agee Invitational (10/9-10) shooting two 73's (146)...Tied for 34th with 225 strokes at the St. Mary's Invitational (10/25-26) shooting a 79-70-76

2010 Spring: Shot 75-76-78 for a 13-over 229 to finish tied for 37th at the Jackrabbit Invitational (3/15-16)... At the Fireline Towson Invitational (3/27-28), shot 81 and 80 in the first two rounds before shooting a 2-over 74 in the third round to jump more than 20 spots for a 55th place finish... Went 76-80-79 to finish at 19-over at the Titan Invitational (4/16-17) to tie for 48th... Turned in Loyola's lowest round (72) at the MAAC Championships to tie for fifth after rounds of 78 and 76, finishing at 10-over... went 86-82-75 at the NCAA West Regional to finish 27-over (243) in 75th place.

2009 Fall: Finished tied for 44th at the Manor Intercollegiate (9/14-15) after shooting a 238... tied for 65th with a 247 at the John Dallio Memorial (9/27-28)... shot a 241 at the Mission Inn Fall Intercollegiate (10/2-4) to finish tied for 53rd... tied for 26th at the D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate (10/11-12) after shooting an 18-over 228 with rounds of 74-77-77... finished the fall slate with an aggregate 236 at the Bill Cullum Invitational (10/26-27).

2009 Spring: Put forth the best showing by a Greyhound at the NCAA Southeast Regionals (05/14-16), leading the team at 1-over to finish tied for 40th...he shot 69-73-72 at RedTail for a cumulative 214, 11 strokes better than Loyola's second-best finisher...finished fourth at the MAAC Championship (4/24-26) with a 9-over showing (75-77-73) for the first Top-Five of his career...earned his first Top-Ten at the Detroit Titans Invitational (4/17-18) in Loyola's victory, tying teammate Alex Redfearn for tenth with a 224 aggregate after 54 the Towson Invitational (03/28-29) he tied fellow freshman Jay Mulieri for team-best honors with a three-round 222...his final-round 76 at the Jacksonville Invitational(02/16-17) was a team-low and placed him in a tie for 32nd place with a three-round 238, which also led Loyola.

2008 Fall: Finished tied for 68th in his first collegiate start at the Hawks Invitational...shot a 222 (74-70-78) at the D.A. Weibring Invitational...posted a 234 at the Santa Clara Invitational.

Before Loyola: Earned two varsity letters in golf his junior and senior years...won the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference individual title as a junior...named D.C. Golfer of the Year as a junior by the Washington Post...received First Team All-Met honors his junior season...finished sixth in the FCWT in 2007...played JV baseball his freshman and sophomore seasons.

Personal: Son of Dennis and Elena McCarthy...Has a younger brother, Denny, and two younger sisters, Cristina and Michaela.
