Brendan Lemp joined the Loyola golf program as a volunteer assistant in September of 2014. Lemp concluded his playing career in May by becoming the first Loyola University Maryland golfer to finish at par or better in an NCAA Regional Championship, carding a 5-under 67 through the final round. Lemp, a first-team All-Patriot League performer, finished the NCAA Columbia Regional in a tie for 26th with an even 216.
2014 Spring: Competed in all sevenspring tournaments and earned All-Patriot League First Team honors after finishing fifthat the conference championship...Opened the spring season finishing second on the team and tied for seventh overall at the Snowman Getaway (2/24-2/25), carding a 69-69-70for an 8-under 208...Shot an 82on the Pinehurst No. 2 course through the second round of the Pinehurst Intercollegiate (3/9-3/11), finishingthe tournament tied for 25th overall at 21-over 233(74-82-77)...Finished tied for 91st at the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate (), shooting 73-79-80 for a 21-over 231...Was tied for the team's best finish at the River Landing Intercollegiate (4/11-4/12) with a 2-over 218 (75-73-70)...At the weather-shortened Wolfpack Spring Open (4/20), finished tied for 26th at 4-over 76...Was fifth at the Patriot League Championships, shooting 73-69-74 for a 6-over 216...Concluded career at the NCAA Columbia Regional by becoming the first Greyhound to finish at par-or-better through an NCAA regional, carding a personal-best 5-under 67 through the final round to finish in a tie for 26th with an even 216.
2013 Fall:Competed in all five fall events, finishing the last two as the team's top finisher...Began the fall season tied for 24th overall at the Marshall Invitational (9/9-9/10) with a 5-over 218 (73-73-72)...Was tied for 14th at the Hartford Hawks Invitational (9/23-9/24) after shooting a 70, 76 and 77, respectively, for a 7-over 223...Shot a 10-over 217 (70-75-72) at the Stars and Stripes Invitational to finish 14th overall...Team's top finisher at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate with a 4-over 217, shooting 75-70-72...Finished the fall as the team's top placer at the Eagle/Osprey Intercollegiate, carding a 7-over 223 (77-73-73).
2012 Fall:Competed in all five fall tournaments... Second on the team with a three-round tournament average of 219.6... Began fall tying for 24th with a 5-over 218 performance at Marshall Invitational (9/10-9/11), shooting 73-73-72... Was tied for 14th at the Hartford Hawks Invitational (9/23-9/24) with scores of 70-76-77, totaling a 223... Shot 70-75-72 at Stars and Stripes Invitational (10/6-10/7), finishing 14th with a 217... Was tied for 27th at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate (10/21-10/23) with scores of 75-72-70, totaling 217... Finished with a 223 (77-73-73) at the Eagle/Osprey Intercollegiate (11/4-11/5) tying him for 14th.
2012 Spring: Competed in all six spring competitions, including MAAC Championships and the NCAA Regional (5/17-5/19)... Finished second on the team and tied for 28th at UCF Rio Pinar (3/19-3/20) with a 4-over 220 (75-76-69)...Was tied for 60th with a 227 at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate (3/25-3/27), shooting 72-76-79...Shot 81-75-73 at Fireline Towson Invitational, finishing tied for 65th with a 229...Carded a 156 (76-80) in the two-round Wolfpack Spring Open (4/14-4/15) to finish tied for 57th overall...Was tied for 13th at the MAAC Championships (4/27-4/29), shooting 77-71-75 for a 7-over 223...Tied for 70th at the NCAA Regional (5/17-5/19), shooting 231 (75-76-80).
2011 Fall: Did not compete.
2011 Spring: Shot a 77-76-82 at the Fireline Towson Invitational (3/26-27/11) finishing in 46th...Shot a 73-79-82 at the Rutherford Intercollegiate (4/08-10/11) finishing in 49th...Shot a 80-76 at the Navy Spring Invitational (4/16-17/11) finishing in 35th.
2010 Fall: Shot a 81-76-77 at the Bucknell Fall Invitational (9/17-18) finishing in 47th.
Before Loyola: Was a four-year letterwinner for the 2008 and 2010 state championship Northwest Catholic high school team...Three-year all-state performer...Was the 2009 Rhode Island Junior Amateur Champion...National Honor Society member.
