Before Loyola: Four-year letterwinner at Bishop Brady High School in Concord, N.H.... Went to state championship as a junior and senior, finishing third in the individual medalist round...Earned first-team all-state honors in 2010...Participated in numerous IJGT and AJGA tournaments...Finished runner-up in club championships in 2011 and 2012...Was a co-medalist in the qualifying round for the N.H. State AM and advanced to the round of 16...Also lettered in baseball, tennis and basketball...Was an academic Honor Roll member all 16 quarters.
Personal: Son of John and Susan Sokul...Has a younger brother, Michael, who is a swimmer...Mother was a swimmer for St. Catherine University in Minnesota.
