Baltimore, Md. - The men's coaching staff took a much-needed day off for a good cause when it participated in Tuesday's Breast Cancer Awareness golf outing hosted by Mark and Betty Butler.

October has been designated Breast Cancer Awareness month and Tuesday's event kicked the month off in style. It is just one of a continuing number of Cancer Awareness outings that Coach Patsos and his staff have participated in over the last few years.

The outing was one of the last chances for the staff to relax before the advent of practice next week. The Greyhounds will take the floor officially for the first time October 16 to get ready for the 100th season of Loyola Basketball. The regular season begins when the Greyhounds host Vermont on November 13 in Reitz Arena at 7 o'clock.
