Greyhounds Announce 2009-2010 Men's Basketball Schedule

Baltimore, Md. - The Loyola University Maryland men's basketball will open the 2009-2010 regular season the same way it concludes it - with home games - as part of a 29-game regular-season schedule announced today by head coach Jimmy Patsos.
The slate features the opening game at home against Vermont on November 13 and three games in Reitz Arena to conclude the regular season. This will be the 100th recorded season of men's basketball and the institution will be sporting a new name as Loyola College (Maryland) officially becomes Loyola University Maryland on September 24.
In addition to the 18 MAAC games, the Greyhounds will be home against Vermont (Nov. 13), Morgan State (Dec. 1), Howard (Dec. 19) and a BracketBusters opponent to be determined (Feb. 20). Road visits will be made to West Virginia (Nov. 15), Dartmouth (Nov. 24), Indiana (Dec. 22) and Bucknell (Dec. 28) in addition to local foes UMBC (Nov. 18), Mount St. Mary's (Nov. 21) and Coppin State (Dec. 9).
