Two MBB Games On Patriot League Package on CBS Sports Network

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Patriot League today announced its CBS Sports Network television schedule for the 2014 season, showcasing 15 men's and three women's contests, including both the Men and Women's Championship Games.
Per the announcement, at least two Loyola University Maryland men's regular-season games will air on the network. The Greyhounds will host Lafayette on Jan. 13 and play at Boston University, Jan. 20, in games to be aired by CBS Sports Network. A complete television broadcast schedule for Loyola men's basketball will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Patriot League Men's Basketball Championship will be televised on CBS Sports Network for the third year in a row on Wednesday, March 12 at 7:30 p.m., with the Women's Basketball Championship set to be aired for the fifth year in a row on Saturday, March 15 at 6 p.m. In addition, CBS Sports Network will air both semifinal games of the Patriot League Men's Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 8 at 3:30 and 5:30 p.m.
Twelve Patriot League men's basketball contests and two women's games will air on CBS Sports Network during the regular season, with the return of flex scheduling for the men's matchups on the final two weekends. The coverage begins on the first weekend of Patriot League play for the men as first-year member Boston University pays a visit to Lehigh on Jan. 5 at 1 p.m.
A packed January slate of Patriot League basketball on CBS Sports Network continues the following weekend with a doubleheader in Annapolis, as Army visits Navy on Jan. 11 for a women's contest at 1:30 p.m. followed by the men's matchup at 4 p.m. The men's slate continues throughout the month with Lafayette at Loyola University Maryland on Jan. 13 at 7:30 p.m., Bucknell at Army on Jan. 19 at 3 p.m., Loyola at Boston University on Jan. 20 at 7:30 p.m., Boston University at Bucknell on Jan. 25 at 2 p.m. and Colgate at Lafayette on Jan. 27 at 9 p.m.
The first week of February will include four Patriot League games on CBS Sports Network. Three will come on the men's side with Holy Cross at Colgate on Feb. 4 at 9 p.m., Navy at Army on Feb. 8 at 4 p.m. and Bucknell at Holy Cross on Feb. 9 at Noon. The Navy-Army matchup will again be shown as a CBS Sports Network doubleheader, with the women's contest tipping off at 1:30 p.m. from West Point.
The first men's basketball flex game follows on Feb. 23 at Noon, with another flex slot for the last day of the regular season on March 1 at 2 p.m. The selection of the flex contests will be made no later than 10 days prior to each of the competition dates. Four of the five Patriot League games will be eligible for the broadcast window on Feb. 23, with all five contests available for the regular-season finale on March 1.
Patriot League basketball teams open non-League action on Nov. 8, with the first League contests set for Jan. 2.
The Patriot League and CBS Sports Network are entering the third season of a multi-year deal announced in June 2011 in which the Network airs Patriot League men and women's basketball, men's lacrosse and football. The Network also provides full coverage of the Patriot League Men's Lacrosse Tournament for the sixth consecutive year, with multiple regular-season games also televised. CBS Sports Network is televising a pair of Patriot League football games in 2013, with the Lehigh at Fordham contest on Oct. 5 at Noon and Colgate at Holy Cross on Oct. 19 at Noon.
The Patriot League enters into its 11th straight year in partnership with CBS Sports Network.
