Greyhounds Take In 'Golden Boy' On Broadway

Jan. 20, 2013

NEW YORK -

The Loyola University Maryland men's basketball team attended Golden Boyon Sunday afternoon, a Broadway show in New York City starting Tony Shalhoub.

On the suggestion of Loyola president Fr. Brian Linnane, who attended the show recently, the team stopped on Broadway en route to Monday's game at Fairfield.

The play is based on Joe Bonaparte, a young man who has dreams of becoming a violinist only to become a top-ranked boxer.
