Bridgeport, Conn. - Sean Corrigan scored 20 points in Loyola's regular season finale at Fairfield on Saturday night. Unfortunately for the Greyhounds, the Stags had too much depth as four players reached double figures in a 67-59 win over the `Hounds.

Corrigan, who posted four three-point field goals and seven rebounds in 27 minutes of action, got the Greyhounds off to a good start with a triple to start the game. Loyola jumped out front 7-0 and held that lead until Fairfield knotted the score at 10-10 at 12:55 of the first half.

Freshman Brad Farrell knocked down a three to end the first half and Loyola trailed 36-30 at the break. The Greyhounds closed the gap to two points several times in the second half, including at 11:03 when senior Bernard Allen knocked down a three-pointer of his own to make the score 46-44.

Fairfield, however, had an answer for each Loyola run, getting 44 points off its bench to overcome 37.9 percent shooting. The Greyhounds, who out-rebounded Fairfield 37-35, also shot 40 percent from the floor.

Charlie Bell, who started for only the third time this season, scored 12 points while Shane James chipped in with 10 points and five assists.

Loyola, the No. 9 seed in next weekend's MAAC Tournament, will play the No. 6 seed next Friday at 9:30 p.m. All tournament games will take place at the HSBC Arena in Buffalo, N.Y.
