BALTIMORE - Behind a career-high 20 points from sophomore Tyler Hubbard, the Loyola University Maryland men's basketball team snapped American's win streak Wednesday night at Reitz Arena, handing the Eagles their first Patriot League loss of the season, 62-58. 

Sophomore Franz Rassman and senior Jordan Latham chipped in 11 and 10 points, respectively, for Loyola (10-12, 5-6 Patriot League), while juniors Denzel Brito and R.J. Williams had four assists each.

For American (14-7, 10-0), Darius Gardner had 19 points, Jesse Reed had 16 and Tony Wroblicky had 11.

The Greyhounds will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Lehigh for a 2 p.m. contest.
