The Loyola University Maryland men's basketball team concluded its Canadian Tour with a 72-49 win over Concordia, moving its trip record to 5-0.

On an off day from competition during its 2014 Canadian Tour, the Loyola University Maryland men's basketball team visited many of Montreal's sights.


The Greyhounds defeated Universite Laval, 90-74

Loyola University Maryland men's basketball toured the fortified Quebec City, one of the oldest settlements in North America, on Sunday, Aug. 24. The Greyhounds then beat Universite Laval, 90-74.

Men's Basketball vs. Universite du Quebec a Montreal

The Greyhounds beat the Universite du Quebec a Montreal in its first game of the 2014 foreign tour.

2013-2014 (Redshirt Junior): Grabbed a rebound in nine minutes of action at Navy (12/31)... Saw nine minutes of action against Butler (11/22)... Made his Loyola debut at Texas Tech (11/14).

2013-2014 (Junior): Redshirted the season to establish NCAA year-in-residency.

2012-2013 (Sophomore at Wisconsin-Parkside): Played in two games for the University of Wisconsin-Parkside... Averaged 8.0 points and 1.5 steals in his outings... Was 5-of-8 from 3-point range (.625) in the games.

2011-2012 (Freshman at Maine): Member of the Black Bears team as a redshirt.

Before Loyola: Graduated from Falmouth (Maine) High School in 2010 as the school's No. 3 all-time leader in scoring... As a senior, he averaged 24.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game and led Yactsmen to the 2010 Maine Class B State Championship... Shot 45 percent from 3-point range during the season... Earned Maine Gatorade Player of the Year honors in 2010 and was a finalist for Mr. Maine Basketball... Named to the Bangor Daily News, Portland Press Herald and the Maine Sunday Telegram All-State First Teams... Tabbed the Western Maine Conference Player of the Year and was on the All-Western Maine Conference First Team... Also played football at Falmouth... Spent a prep year at New Hampton (N.H.) School in 2010-2011, helping the Huskies reach the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council AAA Championship Game and a berth in the National Prep School Tournament.

Personal: Stefano Rosario Mancini... Son of Nancy and Gino Mancini... His older sister was an All-American swimmer at the University of Notre Dame, and his younger sister, Nicola has earned All-America honors as a diver at Bentley University.
