The Loyola University Maryland men's basketball team concluded its Canadian Tour with a 72-49 win over Concordia, moving its trip record to 5-0.
Loyola men's basketball held off a strong McGill University team for a 65-60 victory behind 25 points from Eric Laster and 13 by Andre Walker.
On an off day from competition during its 2014 Canadian Tour, the Loyola University Maryland men's basketball team visited many of Montreal's sights.
Loyola University Maryland men's basketball toured the fortified Quebec City, one of the oldest settlements in North America, on Sunday, Aug. 24. The Greyhounds then beat Universite Laval, 90-74.
Loyola men's basketball had a busy first full day in Montreal, playing and winning a pair of games against Universite du Quebec a Montreal and Brookwood Elite.
On an off day from competition on its 2014 Canadian Tour, the Greyhounds toured Montreal.
Loyola hosted American on February 5, 2014, in Reitz Arena.
Loyola men's basketball played its first-ever Patriot League game on January 2, 2014, against Navy.

2012-2013 (Sophomore): Named to the Capital One Academic All-District I First Team and the Academic All-Patriot League Team... Played in all 30 games, starting 29 for the Greyhounds... Averaged 5.9 points and 4.3 rebounds per game... Shot 37.5 percent from 3-point range... Finished the regular-season with back-to-back 15-point games, setting and then matching his career-high... Scored 15 for the second game in a row, making 7-of-9 field goals to go with seven rebounds at Navy (3/1)... Made 6-of-7 field goals and finished with a career-high 15 points against Holy Cross (2/26)... Scored 10 points on 5-of-6 from the field, and had six rebounds at Lafayette (2/12)... Was 7-of-7 from the free-throw line and finished with 11 points against American (2/5)... Named to the Capital One Academic All-America District II Team for his excellence in the classroom... Had five offensive rebounds, and seven overall against Army (2/1)... Scored 12 and had eight rebounds at Army (1/5)... Tallied 10 of his 12 in the first half at Mount St. Mary's and also had seven rebounds against the Mountaineers (12/7)... Scored a career-high 14 against Catholic (12/4), making 7-of-9 shots from the field... Grabbed eight rebounds and had a career-high three steals at No. 13 Connecticut (11/26).
2012-2013 (Freshman): Played in all but one game, at Niagara, during his first collegiate season, averaging 2.3 points in 8.3 minutes per game... Started six games... Made his collegiate debut with a rebound and a blocked shot in six minutes versus Binghamton (11/9)... Tallied eight points, nine rebounds, three blocked shots, an assist and a steal in 20 minutes of action versus UMBC (11/14)... The nine rebounds and three blocks were season-highs... Scored eight versus Niagara (12/5) and had four rebounds against the Purple Eagles... Played a season-high 25 minutes in his first collegiate start against Saint Peter's in the IZOD Center... Scored a season-best 13 points on 6-of-8 from the field, 1-of-2 from 3-point range... Grabbed four rebounds at Memphis (12/30) and also versus Rider (1/4)... Scored five in the home win over Marist (1/17)... Grabbed five rebounds, three offensive, against Iona in Reitz Arena (1/27)... Scored six in just 11 minutes at Iona (3/1).
Before Loyola: Played high school basketball at Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C... Earned All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) Third Team honors as a senior post player for the Purple Eagles... Helped Gonzaga win three D.C. Classic titles... Gonzaga also won the 2011 Alhambra Catholic Invitational Tournament, the prestigious event held each March in Frostburg, Md... Member of the National Honor Society and earned First Academic Honors at Gonzaga... Played AAU basketball for Mid-Atlantic Select.
