The Loyola University Maryland men's basketball team concluded its Canadian Tour with a 72-49 win over Concordia, moving its trip record to 5-0.
On an off day from competition during its 2014 Canadian Tour, the Loyola University Maryland men's basketball team visited many of Montreal's sights.
Loyola University Maryland men's basketball toured the fortified Quebec City, one of the oldest settlements in North America, on Sunday, Aug. 24. The Greyhounds then beat Universite Laval, 90-74.
Loyola men's basketball had a busy first full day in Montreal, playing and winning a pair of games against Universite du Quebec a Montreal and Brookwood Elite.

Loyola men's basketball defeated Cornell, 76-71, on Nov. 16, 2014.

2013-2014 (Freshman): Played in 26 games and made three starts in his first season at Loyola... Avergaed 1.9 points and 1.2 rebounds in 9.2 minutes per game... Made his first collegiate start against Army (2/1) and scored nine points to go with three rebounds and a blocked shot... Scored a career-high nine points and grabbed a career-best five rebounds in 18 minutes of action at Holy Cross (1/29)... Made all three of his shots and both of his rebounds against the Crusaders... Played 11 minutes, made both of his shots, scored four points, had two rebounds and a steal against Colgate (1/25)... Saw 16 minutes of action against Saint Joseph's (12/21) and grabbed three rebounds... Scored seven, five in the second half during a 100 second stretch, at Cornell (11/10)... Had four rebounds, as well, against the Big Red... Made his collegiate debut against Binghamton (11/8) and scored two points to go with a pair of rebounds and an assist in six minutes.
Before Loyola: Graduated from Benedictine College Prep in Richmond, Va., where he played his junior and senior seasons... Attended Cosby H.S. where he played as a freshman and sophomore... Was a four-year varsity starter between the two schools... Averaged 6.7 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.1 blocked shots as a senior for Benedictine Prep, helping the Cadets to a 32-5 record and the Virginia Independent School Athletic Association Division I state title in 2012-2013... Had season-highs of 21 points and 14 rebounds during a December 2012 game against Middleburg Academy... Blocked five shots, a season-high, versus Pope John Paul The Great in February.
Personal: Nicholas Alexander Gorski... Achieved the rank of 2nd Lieutenant at Benedictine Prep... Played AAU basketball for East Coast Fusion.
