Kevin Farrell has joined the Loyola University Maryland men's basketball staff for the 2012-2013 season as the Director of Basketball Operations.

Farrell was a valuable member of the Greyhound staff for the last four years as an undergraduate student at Loyola as a manager, and he graduated from the school in May 2012 with a bachelor of business administration. He was also the 2012-2013 Loyola Athletics' Student Service Award recipient for outstanding service to the athletic department.

Farrell, who also spent time as an assistant baseball coach with the junior varsity program at his high school alma mater, Iona Prep, has been a coach and counselor at several basketball camps during the summers, including the Loyola Basketball Camp and the Shaka Smart Basketball Camp at Virginia Commonwealth.
