joined the program prior to last season as a walk-on and returns for this year ... attended North Carolina-Wilmington in 2006-2007, but was not a member of the basketball team ... grew five inches since leaving high school ... a good nose-on-nose defender ... a three-point threat on offense ... not shy about going inside for rebounds ... one of the better-liked members of the team ... continues to learn the system during practice and as a member of the scout team ... has two seasons of eligibility remaining at Loyola.

2007-2008
Saw action in 14 games in his first season, all of the bench ... failed to connect on any of his three field-goal tries, but made both of his attempts from the free-throw line at Iona (Dec. 7) for his only points on the season ... did not attempt a shot until the home matchup with Siena (Jan. 24), his 10th appearance of the season ... it was his only attempt at Reitz Arena as his other shots came at New Jersey Institute (Jan. 29) and Marist (Mar. 2) ... also grabbed two rebounds in that contest against the Red Foxes ... his other rebounds were collected against Manhattan (Dec. 9) and in back-to-back appearances at Kansas (Jan. 8) and Rider (Jan. 13) ... the Jaspers were the only MAAC opponent against whom he saw playing time in both games ... his only assists of the year came at Kansas and New Jersey Institute while his high for minutes played came at Rider ... did not record a block or a steal on the season.

Before Loyola
Averaged 18 points and five assists as a high school senior at T.C. Roberson ... played for Rich Sizemore there ... his teams won the conference championship during both of his varsity seasons.

The son of Bobby and Gretchen Kelly... father played point guard for Jim Lynam at Fairfield University ... brother, Conor, attends East Carolina University and sister, Devon, attends Florida State University ... majoring in Communication with a concentration in Advertising/Public Relations at Loyola.
