Before Loyola: Graduated from Richardson (Texas) High School where he was a three-year basketball letterwinner… Two-time District 10-6A Defensive Player of the Year as a junior and senior in 2014-2014 and 2015-2016… Also named the City Defensive Player of the year… Had four triple-doubles as a high school player, including three as a senior… Averaged 6.3 points, 10.4 rebounds and 6.3 blocked shots per game as a senior after posting averages of 5.6 points, 8.1 rebounds and 5.1 blocks as a junior… Led the Eagles to the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 District and Bi-District Championships… Earned Academic All-State honors from the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches in 2015-2016 and was an Academic All-District honoree as a sophomore, junior and senior… Selected to the Metroplex 24 and the North Texas Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Games… Played AAU for FV 5:17 and helped the team win the Central Texas Great American Shootout title… Played in the Texas vs. Trinidad-Tobago Tournament in 2013 and was named the Defensive Player of the Tournament.
