The Loyola University Maryland men's basketball team concluded its Canadian Tour with a 72-49 win over Concordia, moving its trip record to 5-0.
On an off day from competition during its 2014 Canadian Tour, the Loyola University Maryland men's basketball team visited many of Montreal's sights.
Loyola University Maryland men's basketball toured the fortified Quebec City, one of the oldest settlements in North America, on Sunday, Aug. 24. The Greyhounds then beat Universite Laval, 90-74.

2016-2017 (Junior): Played in all 33 games, starting six for the Greyhounds… Averaged 4.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per game while shooting 49.1 percent from the field… Scored 10 points and had a pair of assists at Coastal Carolina in the CBI Quarterfinals (3/20)… Tied for team-high honors with eight rebounds at George Mason in the CBI First Round (3/15)... Tallied seven points and five rebounds at Boston U. (3/2) in the Patriot League Quarterfinals... Scored eight points in a win over Boston U. (1/16)... Finished with 11 points at Binghamton (12/10)... Scored nine points and had four rebounds against Mount St. Mary’s (12/3)... Made 6 of 9 shots and scored 16 at Stony Brook (11/30)... Blocked a career-high five shots at Duquesne (11/11).
2015-2016 (Sophomore): Played in 28 games, missing the last two with an injury, and made 22 starts… Averaged 6.4 points and 3.5 rebounds per game… Also had 20 blocked shots… Went 6-of-7 from the field to score 12 points to go with eight rebounds at Colgate (2/21)... Scored 12 points, had eight rebounds, three blocks and two steals against Boston University (2/13)... Converted 4-of-5 field goals for nine points against Lafayette (1/30)... Made all eight of his field goals and matched his career-high with 17 points at Boston University (1/18)... His 8-of-8 was the second-best field goal percentage performance in school history... Scored seven, grabbed six rebounds and blocked two shots against Lehigh (1/6)... Led the team with a career-high 17 points, going 6-of-8 from the field and making all four free throws in only 24 minutes at Fairfield (12/22)... Scored nine points on 4 of 6 from the field against Towson (12/8)... Finished with 13 points, going 5 of 5 from the field, with three blocked shots at Mount St. Mary’s (12/5)... 2014-2015 (Freshman): Saw his minutes and production expand greatly as the season wore on... Played in all 30 games and started 14 for the Greyhounds... Was in the opening five for Loyola in each of the year's last 12 contests... Averaged 3.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per game, but his increased contributions were evident in Patriot League statistics... Not including the Patriot League Tournament, he averaged 4.3 points and 3.8 rebounds in conference games... Led the Greyhounds in blocked shots (26) and was seventh in the conference in blocks per game (0.9)... Shot .519 from the field in conference play and made .639 of his free throws in those 18 games... scored six points on 3-of-4 shooting and grabbed four rebounds in the Patriot Leauge First Round at Holy Cross (3/3)... Grabbed eight rebounds and scored five against Navy (2/28)... Had nine rebounds in a win over Colgate (2/22)... Played a team-high 32 minutes at Bucknell (2/18)... Tallied 10 points at Boston U. (2/14)... Scored a career-best 14 points, making all nine of his shots -- five field goals and four free throws --while passing out three assists and blocking a pair of shots against Lehigh (2/7)... Blocked three shots and grabbed six rebounds in a win at Army (1/31)... Scored four and grabbed five rebounds in a starting role against Holy Cross (1/29)... Finished with eight points, making 6-of-10 free throws, and a season-high nine rebounds against Bucknell (1/21)... Before Loyola: Was a four-year letterwinner at Glenelg Country Day School in Ellicott City, Maryland, where he averaged 21.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.6 blocked shots per game as a senior in 2013-2014... Scored in double figures in all but one of his 26 games as a senior and had nine or more in each contest... Tallied a career-high 41 points in February 2014 against the Gilman School after posting 37 in December 2013 against Stonewall Jackson High School... Led Howard County in points per game as a senior and topped the county with 562 total points... Named to the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) `A' Conference All-Star First Team and the Howard County Times' All-County Team... Garnered Washington Post All-Metro Honorable Mention... As a junior in 2012-2013, averaged 13 points and seven rebounds per game while leading the Dragons in field-goal percentage, blocked shots, steals and free-throw percentage...
