BRIAN RUDOLPH returns for his senior season after starting more than 70 percent of the games in which he has appeared in a Greyhounds uniform ... last year he made the fewest starts of his career, but was in the starting lineup for the final 14 contests of the campaign ... will be counted on for the same leadership he has consistently provided since being the starting point guard on the 19-win team his freshman year ... was named the MAAC Co-Rookie of the Year following that season in voting by the conference's head coaches ... already ranks fourth all-time in school history in assists (395) and has an outside chance of becoming the career leader (538) with another solid season ... a true pass-first point guard which should be an asset with the offensive options available this season ... a strong driver to the basket with an array of shots around the basket ... not afraid to take the ball to the basket and often times beats defenders down the floor, resulting in easy baskets ... his outside shooting continues to improve and he has remained consistent at the foul line, ranking 22nd all-time in school history in free-throw percentage at almost 74 percent.

2009-2010
Despite coming off the bench, he opened the season with consecutive seven-assist performances in a home win over Vermont (Nov. 13) and at West Virginia (Nov. 15) ... reached double digits in scoring for the first time of the season when he tallied 11 points at Canisius (Dec. 4) by making seven of nine foul shots ... his next double-figure scoring effort came with 13 points off the bench against Iona (Jan.11), making five of his seven attempts from the floor ... that outing earned him a spot in the starting lineup in his next game, handing out six assists in 37 minutes in a home win over Marist (Jan. 15) ... he would go on to start the remaining 13 games of the season, reaching double figures in scoring six times in those starts and shooting 80.6 percent (50-62) from the free-throw line ... tallied 13 points with seven assists at Siena (Jan. 21) and added a season-high 18 points with an eight-for-10 effort from the free-throw stripe in a road win at Marist (Jan. 23) on a road trip ... scored 12 points with six assists and five rebounds against Canisius (Feb. 26).

2008-2009
Found his offensive consistency late in the year after struggling with his shot early in the season ... opened the year with 11 points in the season opener against Mount St. Mary's (Nov. 14) and matched that number three days later at Boston College (Nov. 17) ... would go nine straight after that before collecting double figures again, leading the team with 13 points at Duke (Dec. 31) ... did record a nine-assist effort prior to that in a win over Coppin State (Dec. 10) ... posted back-to-back seven-assist outings on a road trip to Canisius (Jan. 03) and Niagara (Jan. 05), adding 12 points against the Purple Eagles ... was one of five Greyhounds to score 10 or more in the game when he tallied 11 in the home win over Marist (Jan. 18) ... scored 12 points in both games of a trip to Rider (Jan. 30) and Fairfield (Feb. 01), adding a season-high seven rebounds in the win over the Broncs ... came off the bench to score 13 points with five assists and three steals at Siena (Feb. 09) ... ended the season averaging 11.8 points over the final five games, including a career-high 19 in the home finale against Rider (Feb. 26) ... one game later he scored nine points and handed out a career-best 12 assists in a road win at Iona (Mar. 01) ... made all eight of his attempts from the foul line en route to 14 points in the MAAC Championship game with Canisius (Mar. 06) ... ended the season making 23 of his final 25 attempts from the free-throw line (.920).

2007-2008
After playing 18 minutes in the season opener at Towson (Nov. 9), he was inserted in the starting lineup for the home-opening win over Pennsylvania (Nov. 11) and remained there for a seven-game stretch ... played every minute of the second half to fuel the home comeback over American (Nov. 14), stopping the Eagles backcourt while handing out six assists ... bettered that in his next outing with seven assists in the home win over Vermont (Nov. 18) ... made six of eight free throws en route to his first double-figure scoring effort with 10 points against Drexel (Nov. 24) ... came off the bench two games later to score 11 points at Iona (Dec. 7) in his first MAAC contest ... would not reach double digits again for a month when the Greyhounds hosted Iona (Jan. 6) and he tallied 12 points, making 10 of 12 free throws ... was back in the starting lineup by the next MAAC outing, playing 28 minutes with eight assists in a win at Fairfield (Jan. 11) ... that night started a 13-5 stretch for Loyola with him in the starting lineup to finish the season ... played 36 minutes with 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists in the home win over Marist (Jan. 17) ... played 37 minutes in each of back-to-back outings at Canisius (Feb. 3) and Niagara (Feb. 5), scoring 11 and 12, respectively ... tallied 14 with five assists against no turnovers a week later against Niagara (Feb. 10) ... followed that six days later with a career-high 15 points and five assists in an overtime win at Siena (Feb. 16) ... dominated the extra session against the Saints, scoring seven straight and nine total as the Greyhounds outscored Siena 17-10 for the road win ... his next outing saw him record a career-high 10 assists in a come-from-behind home win over Rider (Feb. 18) that vaulted the Greyhounds into a four-way tie for first place ... he assisted on the basket that gave Loyola the lead for good and then iced the game with a basket with 16.5 seconds left ... was the lone non-senior starter on Senior Day and contributed with eight assists and eight rebounds in the home win over UC Davis (Feb. 23) ... his final double-figure scoring effort came with 13 points in the home finale against Canisius (Feb. 28) .. averaged 6.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists in his two appearances in the MAAC Championships (Mar. 8-9) ... played 34 minutes or more in all 11 of the season's February and March games ... his 143 assists for the season is the seventh highest total in Greyhounds history.

Before Loyola
Helped Bridgton (Maine) Academy to a 30-5 record and third consecutive NEPSAC Championship, earning Most Valuable Player tournament honors ... a three-time New Bedford Standard-Times Player of the Year selection while at New Bedford HS ... averaged 23.9 points and 10.1 assists as a senior, helping his team to an 18-5 record, losing to the eventual champion in the Division I state tournament ... career-best came with a 39-point effort in a 111-96 win over East Boston ... finished his scholastic career as the only player in that school's history with 1,200 points, 600 assists and 200 steals, averaging 20.8 points and 10.1 assists in 60 games.
