A two-time all Mason-Dixon Conference selection, he scored 1,034 points and set a school assist record during his three year career. He held the record for assist at the time of his induction. He also ranked among the top 25 scorers in Loyola history. This talented athlete was an important member of the 1972-73 Greyhound team that went to the NCAA Division II Tournament. An excellent student, he earned the Mohler Trophy, signifying outstanding athletic and academic accomplishment, following his senior year. He also played lacrosse for the Greyhounds in 1975.
