Morris Cannon was one of Loyola's top basketball players. At the time of his induction Morris was in 11th place on the school's all-time scoring list, with 1,310 points. The Baltimore native was a four-year starter whose explosive style made Loyola basketball an exciting attraction in the mid 1970's. A three time All Mason-Dixon Conference selection, Cannon was a key contributor on Loyola's 1972-1973 NCAA Tournament team. The 6'4" Cannon led Loyola to three winning seasons during his four year career.
