Rieman was the first women's basketball player to score over 1,000 points and pull down over 1,000 rebounds during her career. She finished with 1,022 career points and 1,027 rebounds. A four year starter, Rieman averaged in double figures throughout her career and graduated with eight school records. A strong inside player, she held the Loyola career mark for free throws attempts at the time of her induction.
But Rieman's accomplishments stretched beyond the basketball court. She also was a regular on the Lady Greyhound volleyball and lacrosse teams. Rieman earned volleyball's Most Valuable Player honors in 1978, and scored 15 goals for the Loyola lacrosse team her senior season.
Her leadership skills were also recognized by her coaches and teammates. Rieman was elected the 1978-79 basketball captain, and won several special awards from the athletic department during her four years.
