Greyhounds Finish Fall Slate At Lehigh Invitational

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Loyola University Maryland men's and women's tennis teams wrapped up their fall schedules recently at the Lehigh Invitational where the women defeated the host Mountain Hawks and beat Bucknell University and Saint Francis (Pa.) University in doubles action.

Against Lehigh, six Greyhounds - Megan Hahn, Haleigh Morgus, Emily Hughes, Scarlett Hoy, Olivia Ott and Gabriella DeCarvalho - won in singles play, and the six teamed for three doubles wins, too.

The next day, Hahn and Ott won a doubles match versus St. Francis, and Hoy and DeCarvalho were also winners against the Red Flash. Hahn and Ott, and Morgus and DeCarvalho, won doubles matches later against Bucknell.

In singles play, Hoy was a straight-sets winner against the University of Delaware.

On the men's side, Bobby Gorczakowski was a singles winner against Bucknell and Lehigh,and he teamed with Connor Pietrak for a pair of doubles victories against Lehigh and St. Francis.
