Loyola University Maryland women's tennis hosted the 2015 Loyola Invitational Sept. 25-27.


McClure Tennis Center Dedication

Loyola dedicated the McClure Tennis Center on April 11, 2015.

2014-2015 (Junior):) Completed a study abroad term in Beijing during the fall... Earned Academic All-Patriot League honors for the second year in a row for her near-perfect 3.986 grade-point average... Has accumulated 47 singles wins in three years and went 4-3 against conference foes this spring... She also has 43 career doubles wins, 35 with her classmate Emily Hughes.

2013-2014 (Sophomore): Had a very productive second season for the Greyhounds as she matched her 19 singles wins at No. 2 from her freshman campaign, second-most on the team... Tied for most team doubles victories with 15 while partnering for a second year with classmate Emily Hughes... Reach the "B" flight singles finals at the Bucknell and Mount St. Mary's Invitationals in the fall... Was honored for her great academic accomplishments in the classroom as her second 4.0 GPA in a semester earned her Patriot League All-Academic Team Accolades, which led the women's team to the highest cumulative GPA, 3.572,amongst Loyola's 17 sports.

2012-2013 (Freshman): Had an impressive first year at Loyola despite having to overcome several injuries... Reached the semifinals of the Mount St. Mary's Invitational `A' flight, taking third place... Reached the quarterfinals of the `A' singles flight at the Navy Invitational... Finished the year with 19 wins at No. 2 singles... Teamed with classmate Emily Hughes at No. 1 doubles to earn All-MAAC First Team honors with a 6-2 record against conference opponents... With Hughes, she reached the Mount St. Mary's Invitational semifinals and finished third... Also was a finalist in the `A' flight doubles at the Hampton Roads Invitational... Totaled 20 doubles wins overall.

High School: Varsity tennis player at Cary Academy where she ultimately was made captain of her team... Played for four years and went to the all-conference tournament four years in a row and to the all-state tournament twice... Honor-roll student all four years... Won the Community Service Scholarship and the Chinese Award... Was the producer for her high schools television station and a part of the BETA Club.

Personal: Haleigh Lynne Morgus... Born in Raleigh, NC... Daughter of Vincent and Tamara Morgus... Has two younger siblings, Anastasia and Sullivan.
