2014-2015 (Junior): Teamed with Olivia Ott in doubles for the fall semester to win two matches in the "A" Flight of the St. Joseph's Invitational to reach the tournament's quarterfinals, and they also advanced to the "A" flight title match of the Mount St. Mary's Invitational before being edged, 9-7, by a Howard University tandem... Was a winner in 14 singles matches, going 5-2 in Patriot League play to bring her three-year total to 44 victories... Added 12 doubles victories for a three-year career total of 45 as she has achieved double figure wins in both singles and doubles all three seasons... Also won two singles matches at the St. Joseph's Invitational to reach the "B" Flight semifinals before winning the "A" flight consolation tournament at the Mount St. Mary's Invitational.

2013-2014 (Sophomore): Had a remarkable spring season for the Greyhounds in singles and doubles after recovering from a major summer accident was serious injuries... Was voted team most dedicated player for her inspiring efforts and results... Had an impressive 10-3 singles mark and was 12-2 with Morgus in doubles with an undefeated 4-0 record versus Patriot League competition with wins over Army and Navy.

2012-2013 (Freshman): Had a stellar first season with 20 wins in singles and doubles for Loyola... Reached the quarterfinals in the `A' flight singles draw at the Bucknell Invitational and the finals of the `B' flight singles at the Mount St. Mary's Invitational... Advanced to the quarterfinals of the `B' flight singles draw at the Navy Invitational and teamed with classmate Haleigh Morgus in No. 1 doubles to earn All-MAAC First Team honors with a 6-2 record against league competition... The pair reached the Mount St. Mary's Invitational semifinals and finished third... Advanced to the finals of the `A' flight doubles at the Hampton Roads Invitational with Morgus, as well.

High School: Honor-roll student at Merion Mercy Academy in Pennsylvania...Member of the honors society and Mu Alpha Thea Society...Volunteered in a soup kitchen and spent some time tutoring children.

Personal: Emily Jayne Hughes... Born in Philadelphia, Pa.... Daughter of Brian and Julie Hughes...Has two younger sisters, Sarah and Katherine.
