Women's Tennis vs. Towson

2016-2017 (Junior): Studied abroad in Newcastle, England, during the fall semester… Moved up to the top singles spot in the Greyhounds lineup to compete and win nine matches, two against Patriot League opponents, during the spring… Played No. 1 doubles with Ania Krawiec and won nine matches, bringing the tandem’s three-year total to 30 victories… Named team Most Valuable Player by her teammates for the second year in a row.

2015-2016 (Sophomore): Was voted team Most Valuable Player for her outstanding 2nd year… Won 15 singles matches at number 2 and 3 at the top spot with a very impressive 12 dual match winning streak in the spring season… was 5-2 vs. Patriot League opponents… teamed with 2 year partner Ania Krawiec for 7 victories at number 1 and competed with senior Megan Hahn for 10 wins and capturing the first annual Loyola Invitational championship in September… was 4-4 vs. Patriot League doubles opponents…Will be studying abroad in Newcastle during the 2016 fall semester.

2014-2015 (Freshman): Had an impressive first year as she had the second-most singles wins on the team with 16 at number two... Went 5-3 in Patriot League action and had the second-most doubles wins on the squad with 17 at number one... Also went 6-5 in doubles play against Patriot League foes... Advanced to the Navy Invitational "C" Flight Singles semifinals with a pair of wins, and she reached the "C" flight consolation singles finals at the St. Joseph's Invitational.

Before Loyola: Was a four-year letterwinner in tennis at Haddonfield (N.J.) Memorial high School… Helped her team win its conference title four years in a row and the South Jersey Group 2 each of those seasons… Led her team to the New Jersey Tournament of Champions each season, helping them win the title in 2012… Also participated in track in field.

Personal: Amanda Rose Lanciano… Daughter of Natalina and Ralph Lanciano… Born in Philadelphia… Participated in the Interact and Leo Clubs at Haddonfield H.S.
