Scholz Completes His Sixth Swim In 2008 Paralympic Games

Beijing, China - Greyhounds sophomore swimmer Phil Scholz participated in his fourth event of the week at the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing's fabled Water Cube Friday night and finished seventh in his heat of the 100-meter Backstroke, failing to advance to his third final of these games.
The only American swimmer in the event, Scholz swam in the first of two heats and posted a time of 1:20.46. It was his sixth swim of the Games. He has one event remaining, that being the 50-meter Freestyle with his heat taking place at 9:02 am Sunday morning Beijing time (9:02 pm Saturday night Baltimore time).
