OMAHA, Neb. -
Loyola University Maryland senior-to-be Brennan Morris will travel to Omaha, Neb., and the CenturyLink Center to compete in the 2012 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials.
Morris, who is the three-time defending Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Male Swimmer of the Year, will compete in the 400-meter individual medley and 1,500-meter freestyle events.
His meet program commences Monday morning with a heat in the IM, and he will take to the water in the 1,500 on Sunday, July 1.
Morris earned CollegeSwimming.com Mid-Major All-America honors for the third time this season after winning three MAAC individual titles - in the 400 IM, 500 freestyle and 1,650 freestyle - to bring his career total to 10 MAAC championships.
He won seven MAAC Swimmer of the Week awards and was undefeated in 27 individual races as a junior in 2011-2012.
