Boston, Mass. - The Loyola men's and women's swimming and diving teams completed Day One of the ECAC Championships in Boston, Mass. with three championship finalists and Top-10 standings on each side.
The Greyhound women shared a majority of Loyola's Day One success with Melissa White and Victoria Kamauff collecting finalist points in the 200-yard IM. White finished seventh in 2:14.31, while Kamauff took eighth in 2:15.35.
In the freestyle events, freshman Megan Royer was a consolation finalist in the 50 Free (25.33), and junior Megen Hadley picked up consolation finalist points in the 500 Free (5:12.89).
On the men's side, senior Ryan Reeser earned three points with his 14th-place showing in the 50 Free. Reeser swam a time of 21.80 in the event.
Day Two begins with preliminaries on Saturday morning and concludes with 14 more event finals in the evening.
