Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Fall To Towson

Baltimore, Md. - Loyola's men's and women's swimming and diving teams fell to Towson by scores of 156-81 and 163-80, respectively, on Saturday afternoon at the Greyhounds' Fitness and Aquatic Center.
Despite the loss, Loyola received some stellar individual performances. Megan Sterback set a new FAC pool record with her score of 238.13 in the one-meter diving competition. She also took the three-meter competition with a score of 222.15.
Senior Marko Turcinove won three events for the second week in a row as he grabbed the 200 Free (1:44.03), the 200 IM (1:55.36), and the 200 Fly (1:55.41).
The other Greyhound winners on the day were Ryan Reeser in the 50 Free (21.68), Chelsea Brace in the 200 Back (2:12.05) and the women's 400 Free Relay team of Brace, Emily Birkenmeier, Nori Skoda, and Laura Hanlon (1:56.43).
