Meghan Devine returns to the pool deck for the 2008-2009 season as the Greyhounds' Diving Coach. A 2003 graduate of Loyola, Devine was also the teams' diving coach in 2003-2004, and she has worked with several other diving programs in the past.
A four-year letterwinner for the Greyhounds as a student-athlete, Devine finished in the top-8 at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships in the 1-meter and 3-meter events as a sophomore, junior and senior.
Devine was a part-time coach at the highly-successful Whirlwind Diving at the New Canaan (Conn.) YMCA for three years. Whirlwind won nine-consecutive YMCA national titles in diving.
She also was the head coach for the Stamford (Conn.) Yacht Club and Shore and Country Club for four summers, and she coaches six Fairfield County Swim League diving gold medalists at those clubs.
Since finishing her bachelor of arts degree in communications and digital media, with a film studies minor, Devine has worked in film editing and post production for four years. She is also pursuing her M.B.A. at Loyola.
Born and raised in Wilton, Conn., Devine dove at Wilton High School for four years, and she was a team captain as a senior. She also dove for the Aspetuck Valley Country Club in the Weston, Conn., and Whirlwind Diving. She has one brother, Tommy, and a sister, Kerri, who is a 1993 graduate of Loyola.
