BALTIMORE - Nine members of the Loyola University Maryland women’s rowing team were named Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) National Scholar-Athletes, the organization announced this week.

Student-Athletes must meet criteria set forth by the CRCA as regular contributors to NCAA or IRA eligible boats, sophomores or older and have grade-point averages of 3.5 or higher.

Katherine Fletcher (economics), Maureen Frauenheim (biology), Keenan Gibbons (history), Emma Jantzen (elementary education), Emily Mansour (engineering), Amanda Merlino (accounting), Natasha Murray (engineering), Maeve Ponticiello (political science) and Rhys Schueren (communication) were honored for the Greyhounds.
