May 18, 2016

INDIANAPOLIS - Loyola University Maryland women's rowing rising senior Rachel Yuhas was one of more than 200 national student-athletes invited to attend the NCAA's Career in Sports Forum, hosted by the NCAA leadership development department.

Yuhas, one of four Patriot League student-athletes that will attend this year's forum, was invited after expressing an interest in pursuing a career in sports.

The NCAA's leadership development department organizes more than 20 programs each year, including the Career in Sports Forum, to provide professional and personal development initiatives through accessible resources, strategic partnerships and customized programming. The Career in Sports Forum, in particular, provides student-athletes interactive experiences with successful individuals in the sports business and allows attendees the opportunity to look into a day-in-the-life of industry leaders and professionals.

This year's forum will take place June 2-5, in Indianapolis, at the NCAA national office.
