Elliott Lane is in his first year as an assistant coach at Loyola after serving as the His JV lightweight men placed fifth at the Eastern Sprints, tying the team record in that event.

Lane spent eight years as the head coach and director of rowing for the Thompson Boat Center. During this period, his crews earned three national titles and won 15 additional medals at the USRowing National Championships.

Lane also served as the head coach at Bishop O'Connell High School where his crew took silver in the women's junior 8+ at Scholastic Nationals. They also recorded the highest finish in team history at State Championships, the Stotesbury cup, and SRAA Nationals in the Senior women's 8+.

Lane is a graduate of Georgetown , with a degree in Foreign Service from the School of Foreign Service. He began his rowing career at St. Andrew's School, where he was the recipient of the John Schoonover crew award.
