Nicole Cavanagh is in her first season as an assistant rowing coach at Loyola University Maryland. She works primarily with both the novice men and women, and assists with the varsity squad.

Last year she assisted the Capital Crew's Varsity Men Squad in Sacramento, CA where her varsity and light eight squads placed fourth at Junior National in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Just this past summer, Cavanagh assisted Coach Lane in sending the Thompson Boat Center Men's Junior Elite training camp to Club Nationals and place 5th over all. She also helped assist the Junior Men to a second place finish at Canadian Heneley.

For the past two summers, Cavanagh competed at the U23 Elite training camp for Thompsons Boat Center, where she helped her boats to several medals at Club Nationals and a 2nd place at Canadian Heneley.

Cavanagh also assisted the women's squad at Newport Aquatic Center, CA who placed 4th at USrowing, Junior Nationals.

She recently graduated from Sacramento State University with a Criminal Justice Degree, where she helped the Hornets take the bronze medal at conference championships.

In High School, Cavanagh competed with the varsity squad for four years and placed 4th overall in the USrowing Junior Nationals in Cincinnati, Ohio.
