ROW FOR HUMANITY
Show your support for Habitat for Humanity and Loyola University’s crew team in Row for Humanity 2013
Each year, college and university crew teams across the country join forces to row for 12 continuous hours to raise money for their teams and their campus chapters of Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit, ecumenical housing ministry committed to providing safe, affordable homes for families in need.
Crew team members and the Center for Community Service and Justice’s student service coordinators have proudly supported Row for Humanity for more than six years and are gearing up for the 2013 event on January 25th 2013. They’re hoping to set a new team record of 600,000 meters rowed and $6,000 raised-plus top their own personal bests.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
Loyola’s crew team donates a portion of every dollar raised to the University’s campus Habitat for Humanity chapter, which uses the funds to support its building and renovation projects throughout Baltimore. The rest of the proceeds help offset the crew team’s travel, equipment, and other expenses. The largest fundraiser of the year for either organization, Loyola’s Row for Humanity event provides critical resources needed to complete the homebuilding projects, as well as much needed funding to help the crew team represent Loyola well at local, regional, and national meets.
To donate please click the link below and designate it to Row for Humanity in the fund area box. If you are sponsoring a Habitat for Humanity student or Loyola rower please indicate this in the comment box with their full name.
