FAIRFAX, Calif. - Loyola University Maryland senior Ethan Wall was one of 39 golfers to finish under par at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational at Meadow Club Tuesday.
Wall turned in a 3-over 74 through the final round to finish tied for 36th at 1-under 212.
Classmate Connor Flach had the Greyhounds’ best round of the tournament today, shooting 3-under 68, to finish tied for 48th with a 1-over 214.
After shooting a 2-over 73 through today’s final round, junior Bennett Wisner finished tied for 61st with a 5-over 218, while classmate Brendan Peel carded a 1-over 72 to move into 70th place overall. He finished with a three-round score of 7-over 220.
Junior Jeremy Wall rounded out the Greyhounds at the tournament, finishing 78th at 16-over 229.
Ki Taek Lee Arizona State to the team title by finishing tied for first with Oregon State’s Conner Kumpula at 15-under 198. Cal’s Collin Morikawa took third with a 14-under 199.
The Sun Devil’s captured the team title with a 31-under 821, while Oregon State was second at 25-under 827 and St. Mary’s (Calif.) and NC State finished tied for third at 24-under 828.
Loyola will return to the course on Monday, Oct. 17 for the two-day Elon Phoenix Invitational.
