BALTIMORE - The Loyola volleyball team opens its 2008 home schedule Tuesday, September 9, 2008, with a 7 p.m. match in Reitz Arena.
The Greyhounds (1-6) will look to rebound from a weekend tournament in which they lost three matches, but showed several bright spots.
Nicole Scimeme led the Greyhounds over the weekend with 25 kills and earned All-Tournament honors at the Owls Challenge. She logged her second double-double in three matches against the Greyhounds' first opponent at the tournament, host Kennesaw State.
Karlee Woodward topped Loyola's blocking effort at the tournament with 10 total blocks.
Morgan State will be looking for its first victory of the season on Tuesday night. The Bears went 0-4 at Quinnipiac's Bobcat Invitational to start the season and 0-4 at Missouri-Kansas City's Kangaroo Klassic last weekend.
Erin Cox leads Morgan State with 2.40 kills per set through eight matches, and Delissa Carline tops the Bears with 2.20 digs per set.
