Volleyball Picked to Finish Seventh in the MAAC in Pre-Season Poll

Edison, N.J. - The Loyola College volleyball team was picked to finish seventh out of 10 teams in a pre-season coaches poll Monday. Fairfield, runner-up to last season's championship title was chosen as the pre-season favorite to win the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference title.

The seventh place pick is two spots higher than the Greyhounds were selected in 2004, head coach Kristina Hernandez's first season at the helm. Hernandez led her squad to double its wins from 2003 with a 10-18 and a seventh place finish in the conference with a 3-6 record in 2004.
