Baltimore, Md. - The Loyola College volleyball team has released its 2007 fall schedule. The Greyhounds will play four non-conference home games and nine against Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference opponents for 13 total games to be played in Reitz Arena.
The season opens with three tournaments and a home contest against Towson. The Greyhounds first travel to North Carolina Central University for a tournament on August 24 and 25. On the 31st, Loyola travels to Philadelphia, Pa. to participate in LaSalle's tournament. The `Hounds first home game of the season will come on Sept. 4 when they host the Towson Tigers. On September 7-8, Loyola participates in its final tournament of the season at Holy Cross.
Of the remaining eight games in September, the Greyhounds are home for four straight from September 18-26. Loyola hosts seven of the nine games on the schedule in October and one of four in November. The Greyhounds host the final game of the regular season on Nov. 11 before participating in the MAAC Championships.
Loyola finished last season with a record of 10-26 overall and 7-11 in MAAC play.
