Final Stats

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell University scored four-straight points to cap a 6-1 run that pushed the Bison from down three to a 13-11 lead in the third set, and Bucknell led for the rest of the set before closing out the Patriot League match in four, 25-21, 15-25, 25-23, 25-15.

The Greyhounds (5-13 overall, 2-4 Patriot League) built a 10-7 third-set advantage behind the strength of its blocking, as Jac Bullock was in on four blocks during the set's first 17 points. She teamed twice with Jane Lukas, once with Simeone Reid and the final time with Faye Lukas to give Loyola the 10-7 lead.

Karen Campbell, however, had two kills in a row for Bucknell (7-9, 1-6) to pull the Bison within a point. A Meghan Wentzel service error momentarily gave a sideout point and serve back to Loyola, but Morgan Mientus put down a kill for Bucknell to start a 4-0 run that would put the Bison on top for good.

Loyola led in the opening points of the fourth set, but Bucknell scored six of seven points to lead 12-6 en route to the win.

Bullock led Loyola with a season-high seven total blocks and 13 kills. Mindy Maloney added 11 kills, and Nicole Sarby registered a season-high eight without an error in just 15 swings.

The Greyhounds wrap up their weekend road swing on Saturday with a 4 p.m. match at Colgate University in Hamilton, N.Y.
