NEWARK, DE - Katie Pruitt had 13 kills and Megan Maguire had a match-high 17 digs, but it wasn't quite enough to top the Blue Hens in women's volleyball action on Tuesday night. The Greyhounds battled for three close games and fell by a final score of 3-0 at Delaware.

Eight lead changes over three games had Loyola in every single set. The Greyhounds dropped Game One, 30-22 before falling 30-26 and 30-25 in the next two games. Delaware's Valerie Murphy had 17 kills in the win; Pruitt was the only other player on the court to register double-digit kill totals.

Maguire, who had 17 digs, is now 10th in the nation in that category and the only MAAC player to be ranked in digs per game. Liz Beauregard had 23 sets while Blair Snyder contributed nine blocks. Loyola finished the game with 25 blocks while Delaware had 13.

The Greyhounds now focus on conference play and face Rider at Lawrenceville this Saturday at 2 p.m. Loyola is 1-17 overall but is yet to play a MAAC opponent.
