Volleyball Falls to Morgan State, 3-1

Baltimore, Md. - The Loyola College volleyball fell to Morgan State Tuesday night 3-1 at Hill Field House. The Greyhounds fall to 3-9 with the loss while Bears improved to 7-8. The Greyhounds dropped game one 30-24, game two 30-22, won game three 30-22 and fell in the final match 30-25.

Junior Becky Corb led Loyola with 16 kills as well as 12 digs and two block assists. Sophomore Blair Snyder followed with nine kills.

The Greyhounds were solid defensively posting three players in double figure digs led by freshman Katie Sindelar with 17. Jamie Arndt followed with 16 as well as eight kills.

Setter Krystal Biegaj tallied 35 assists in the loss.

For Morgan State, Korrine Lewis and Esther Johnson posted 14 kills each. Adria Boyd followed with 12. Setter Junel Jeffries was credited with 54 assists.

Loyola faces another local opponent this week, visiting UMBC on Thursday, Sept. 23. Game time is set for 7:00
