Towson, Md. - The Loyola College volleyball team fell to Towson, 3-0 Tuesday night at the Towson Center in non-conference action. The Tigers won all three games by just six points a game, 30-24. The Greyhounds fall to 3-13 while Towson improves to 11-3.
Loyola's attack was led by freshman Karlee Woodward and sophomore Rachel Schillinger with 10 kills each. Woodward and Schillinger each registered a team-high two solo blocks. Freshman Nicole Scimeme led the game with 12 digs while classmate Chrissey Cruz posted 23 assists and eight digs.
Towson Christina Grembler recorded a game-high 13 kills, two solo blocks and two block assists while setter Kimberly Snider was credited with 40 assists and a team-high eight digs.
The Greyhounds return to Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference action on Saturday when they travel to Canisius.
