Washington, D.C. - Loyola's volleyball team earned its second win of the season and won its second match in a row by defeating Howard 3-0 on Tuesday night at the Bison's Burr Gymnasium.
The Greyhounds took control of the match early and closed it out quickly as they won Game One 30-23, Game Two 30-24, and Game Three 30-19.
Chirstina Greenup and Jamie Arndt led Loyola on the night as Greenup posted a match-high 13 kills and Arndt added 11 kills and 15 digs. Krystal Biegaj recorded 34 assists.
With the win, Loyola improves to 2-6 on the year while Howard falls to 2-7.
The Greyhounds return to action Friday, September 19th when they take on Stony Brook at 4:30 p.m. in an opening round match at the St. Francis (PA) Tournament in Loretto, PA.
